Pearson enjoyed his second trip to the beach. He like the swimming pool, but not the ocean. Hopefully it will grow on him.

Six months and moving!
Pearson is on the go!

Eating blocks yummy!

Not quite sure about ocean water... it is cold!

On the balcony with Mom and Dad

I am 6 months...crawling, clapping, pulling up, eating carrots, sweet potatoes, rice cereal, apples, bananas, squash... I don't like green beans! I have 4 teeth up top and 2 on the bottom... I can sit up, squeal with delight, and I most definitely know my name! Sadly I am becoming quite the big baby boy!

I love my veggies... look I can hold the spoon myself!

Watch me go...I am all over the place

A little attention for the Lolly girl! Her uncle John tried to train her in his short visit.

Boating with Granddaddy... The boat just lulled me to sleep...This life jacket should be able to keep me afloat!

Oh the wonderful sounds Mr. Brown can do....
He can make a sound like a cow. He can Moo! You know it? I can quote it!!
Let's see what has happened, since I last penned- typed!
Darrell went to the practice round of the Masters with his dad. Pearson saw 3 of his great grandmothers, 1 great PawPaw, his NeNe, his Sonny, and his Aunt P, as well as his cousin Jackson in Georgia---lots of love!
Pearson helped his Great Granny celebrate her 80th birthday.
I visited my best friends from college, Kat, Leigh Ann, Mary Leslie, and Andy;
while Nana, NeNe, Sonny, and Great Granny babysat Pearson. Yes it does take that many grandparents to watch the little one. He is a handful!
Pearson is eating rice cereal like a champ. He is close to crawling, which is a bit scary. He loves to scream in a high pitched tone... with delight! He rolls and and rolls and rolls!
He went to the church nursery for the first time! He was a lamb... I guess he enjoyed it! According to the sweet nursery workers, he did scream. Not the face turning red, mouth wide open, can't catch his breath scream that he often uses on his NaNa and Daddy.
He ate a lovely lunch at Houston's with his cousin Marion in Atlanta and his kind cousin Pete walked him around and around outside. Pearson loves the birds and the trees.
His Granddaddy or as I call him, GrandDP babysat solo!
We celebrated the soon to arrive Hudson Bussey with a diaper and wipe shower!
I attempted to introduce Jackie and Courtney to the southern classic, Shag! I hope those of you reading this blog are familiar... "We can have a good time, but we cannot be wild."
Finally... we have enjoyed many delicious lunches out to eat with friends and strolled many a time to the new Edgewood Creamery... a little plug for nursing... you should do it! That way you can still lose weight and eat ice cream!!!
So the main event... pictures!
Celebrating Granny's 80th Birthday!!! Granny can't wait to move to B'ham, so Pearson can crawl down her new hardwood hall!

Pearson is a very serious young man... he really focuses when playing in his exersaucer!

Yum, Yum, Yummy in my Tum, Tum, Tummy! Pearson's first encounter with cereal.

Pearson played so hard he just fell asleep. I went into the bedroom to put on my tennis shoes for us to stroll. I walked into the den to discover a tuckered out wee one.

Pearson and his Great Grandmother Pearson checking each other out in the nursing home.

I spotted Pearson with a celebrity... Paige Tucker, ABC Anchor.

Jackie, me and Ashley at Hudson's Diaper and Wipe Shower!

Happy Easter!
Today is my favorite holiday! I love Easter, because it celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ! He's alive! Although I love Christmas too, and it is probably the preferred holiday of most. I simply love that Easter celebrates Jesus Christ life, death, and resurrection! It is somewhat free from the hype of travel, presents, and the hectic months of preparation that we have all been sucked into by the world in regards to Christmas.
So Happy Easter! Just enjoy the beautiful day and celebrate the power of the cross!
Here are some pictures of Pearson...
Family Easter Photo

Happy Easter... here I am looking oh so happy to have my picture snapped!

Me and Daddy chillin' on the floor at the lake!

I've got my lake hat on and am ready to hit the boat with my GrandDP.

Happy Birthday to my Sonny! We had a great time celebrating your 50th!

Chewing on my rings with my GrandDP. I am having teething issues... my poor little gums!

Pretty me! These are two of the wonderful pictures that my Aunt CoCo took. THANKS for being my personal photographer!
I love to chew on my clothes... I revert back to I am having teething issues.

Look at my little blue eyes sparkle :) Thanks for getting my best angles CoCo!

Am I half-hearted?
Well as usual I am posting again after a 2 week sabbatical. I was so passionate about the blog at one time. Has my love for blogging grown cold??? I wonder.
I really do want to share with our friends and family the exciting -I don't use exciting lightly- details of our lives!
So what have we been up to over the past two weeks.
Well my house is no longer spotless, but it is clean and somewhat organized. Darrell is probably shouting... organize the bedroom!
Pearson got to meet our dear friends Mel and Matt and Mel's fam!
We actually had three different couples over for dinner on three different nights... so that means my house must be looking somewhat decent!
Our church had a missions conference.
Pearson and I ate Moe's BBQ twice in the same week! I think it is my new favorite place to eat! I love the Mac N' Cheese!
A BIG Day for Pearson was his baptism. The fam came in town, which was very special!
And because the fam was in town... Paige who is a celeb in Augusta, Georgia invited a local TV personality to eat dinner with us on Saturday night! Yes NBC 13 HD's very own Bettina Boateng! I thought that was pretty cool!
Better late than never... we took this picture of Pearson, but for some reason Pearson never posted it! I've been getting onto him about his posting. He really needs to take his blogging serious!

Daddy and Pearson watching some golf on Sunday afternoon. Lucky for Pearson his Daddy is holding him. Mom doesn't allow TV.

Wow this is what an exersaucer is! Pearson's first use of his exersaucer. He loves it!

Family photo before the baptism. Yes I know Pearson is wearing a dress or a gown to be perfectly proper. This is the last one... Daddy dearest isn't fond of his little man in girly garb!

Here is Pearson prior to his sprinkling being held by Dr. Hay. If your screen shows it, he had a bath that morning so his mullet and the rest of his hair has some really nice volume!

The fam for a photo... sadly his Granny and Aunt Kathy were down the street house hunting... that could fill a whole blog!

Isn't he cute in his little blue bubble! This was his post baptism outift a little more manly... well a little more boyish!

It's about time!
Admit it... you're only reading for the pics, but I thought I would catch you up on our little lives.
So it has been almost a month since I last blogged (admittely it is because we don't have the internet at our house nor cable. I can just feel some of you cringing! We may join the 21st century sometime next year).
A lot has happened! Pearson turned 3 months and his NeNe had a surprise 50th Birthday party. He went to the lake for the first time, and Lolly finally got to go again.
Our friends Scott and Laura visited.
MY HOUSE WAS CLEAN... as in spotless... thanks Mom! This doesn't happen that often!
Pearson made his first visit to Oxford, MS where he enjoyed watching me eat Ajax!
Pearson rolled from his back to his stomach... twice... he has tried thousands!
He has started sleeping almost through the night... waking only once! YEAH!!!! In fact on Monday night he slept from 9:30 until 5:30 and then went back to sleep until 7:30... What a refreshing feeling!
He has taken more bottles... mastering none... we're still working on that!
So here is the what you came for... pictures people... pictures!!!
Pearson loves sleeping on his daddy... this was before he loved sleeping through the night!

3 months and growing strong!

Here is a picture of the nursery. I know some people have not seen it.

Why do you constantly take my picture mom? (or why don't I share the ones I take on this blog...hahaha!)

All cozy in Oxford, MS!

Surprise NeNe!!! Happy Birthday!

The picture you have all been waiting for... The Mullet shot! Yes our child is a card carrying member of the mullet club. For more pics of the cutest mullet on earth log onto www.mullet.com (just kidding)!
