"Are you a pretty boy?" If you say this to Pearson, he will smile on cue. It is one of his tricks... which is one more than Lolly can perform. (I love you Lolly, but you never have been one for tricks).
So yes... are you a pretty boy, does sound like we are talking to a parrot. It is still cute to see him smile.
Here he is in fact responding to the are you a pretty boy question.

Pearson Christmas morning in Birmingham.... his uncle John gave him a chicks dig me onesie... he better not be attracting any chicks yet.
Pearson had a full and exciting first Christmas! Here are some pictures from our time in Social Circle, Thomson, Appling, Augusta, and Birmingham. Pearson is quite the traveling man.
He was fortunate enough to see 3 out of 4 Great Grandmothers! What a blessing. He saw the other Great Grandmother last weekend.
He received lots of wonderful gifts!
Merry Christmas!

I am losing my protection....
Pearson turned one month old today! Wow! And he is losing his protection as our pastor would say. That is the polite way to say, "I am balding." It is funny how a one month old goes through all the same stages of life as an teenager, a middle aged man, and an elderly person. He has acne, is losing his hair, and has to have his diaper changed.
Oh well, soon enough he will pass through this stage. Sad for those men out there that are stuck without their protection.
Enjoy this pic... he is fully clothed. I with poor judgement posted the oh so cute pic of him in the bath tub. For those of you who didn't see it, I can email it to you.

Que Hora Es?
I may not be able to tell you the date, but I am keenly aware of the time! I could tell you the time using the old fashion method a watch or a clock, but that is so boring. I have other methods for time telling. Unfortunately, it does not involve watching where the sun is in the sky. However I can do that at the beach.
I can tell you what time it is because... the Today Show comes on at 7:00 and ends at 11:00 followed by the local news. Now from 12-2 there are an assortment of game shows; including Mr. Peterman hosting Family Feud and a double dose of Meredith Vieira on Millionaire. Beginning at 2:00 the ever so gracious (I hope you sense the sarcasm) Martha Stewart followed by the hilarious Ellen. Many of you probably watch Oprah; I don't really like to watch Oprah. However that means it is 4:00. You get the drift. However without TV, I can still tell you the time because Pearson likes to eat every 2 hours, so I am keenly aware of the time. And if I forget he will let me know!
Would you like me to give you the run down of middle of the night TV schedule?
Okay Okay... it is just so funny how life changes when you have a baby!

The extra hour of Today
The attached photos were taken during our morning ritual of watching the Today Show in its entirety. Something I had never done until Pearson arrived. My plan was for this to be a time to catch up on lost sleep, but Pearson had different plans. So this time consists of baby talk, diaper changing, and feeding!
I like the blurry picture of him smiling. Of course I claim he is totally smiling at me, what an advanced baby!

Pearson Goes Home
Pearson came home from the hospital Thursday afternoon. Although he didn't like his car seat at first, he quickly fell asleep (probably due to the smooth driving of his dad).
*** We're having technical difficulties posting pictures of this event. As soon as we figure out what's wrong, we'll post the pics!

The Broadway Blog Begins
The blogging begins about life on Broadway. With Baby Boy Tucker on the way, currently life still revolves around chocolate lab, Lolly. She is more spoiled than she is cute, which is hard to believe.
She has a best friend, LuLu. LuLu is the Boston Terrier next door. I said I would never be one of those obsessed pet owners that treat a dog as if it is a person, but I am afraid I have fallen into that trap! So you will now hear about Lolly and LuLu as if the are people not pets!
Lolly and LuLu were instant friends. The only thing that separated the two was a simple chain length fence. This fence was no match for the two friends. With Lolly's strength and digging skills and LuLu's size, they were quickly able to bend the fence just enough for LuLu to squeeze under the fence. Ah, friends together forever!
Well... until big girl, Lolly, decides she'll wedge her 75 lb. body under the fence too. The only problem is Lolly can only fit under the fence one way, and the gate on the other side does not remain locked. That only leaves one option for a lab named Lolly. Let's go for an adventure around the neighborhood.
Lucky for Lolly Broadway is full of nice neighbors; including those that live next door and are the proud owners of LuLu. They gladly caught Lolly in the act of escaping and placed her safely back in our yard.
After lining the fence with steel stakes, only LuLu can squeeze her petite body under the fence. So she visits daily to play and to take her seat beside Lolly on the couch.
Okay, so that may be a boring blog. However that is life on Broadway!
Most everyone meets one or all of the below requirements:
Has a dog
Has a jogging stroller
Has a red ryder wagon
First blog entry.... let's hope they improve!
